Kirk will present “Burglary Statistics: The Data You Need to Effectively Sell Comphrehensive Security” during the Tuesday afternoon session. He will also sit on the “What Keeps You Up at Night” panel Wednesday afternoon.
Kirk has 35 years of experience in the electronic security industry. He once started his own company and grew it from a sole proprietorship to 70 employees. He is responsible for Alarm.com’s distribution strategy, 2G upgrade execution, cable initiatives and developing channel sales opportunities. Prior to joining Alarm.com, Kirk was Vice President of Intrusion Sales for United Technologies (Interlogix, formerly General Electric Security) for 9 years.
Kirk is a former president of the Los Angeles County Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, and is on the board of directors of the Security Industry Association and the Alarm Industry Research and Education Foundation. He has also been actively involved in the Electronic Security Expo steering committee. In addition to his electronic security background, Kirk served 29 years with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department in both a regular and reserve capacity.
